Last Sunday, at the Mariners Trust Bar, Susan Dodd had a book signing session which was well attended. The book entitled 'The Legend That Was Daphne' .
An inspirational tale about a remarkable lady who was known and loved by many. Follow her story and her intrepid band of helpers as they travel the country to watch their beloved Grimsby Town play away. The story begins in 1979/80 after a personal tragedy touched Daphne’s life. Laugh with them, cry with them and be angry for them as they struggle to be treated as equals in the face of adversity and ignorance. Admire their amazing resilience and humour.
